Pros: great color for spring, liked the double lined fabric, cutouts add cool details. Cons: I read the reviews saying this top was too boxy and I didn't listen to them! I wore my usual size 4 and it fit like a 10 on me, so I didn't end up wearing it.

I wear sheath dresses often, typically in a small or size 4-6, but this medium was way too tight. I liked that it pulled over your head so there was no bunching of a zipper, but ultimately I couldn't wear it to work because of how tight it was around the chest!

I was really skeptical about this dress, so I ordered it as a backup to another RTR dress. I have a large bust, small waist and wide hips, so I thought the full skirt would make me look bigger than I am, but it did just the opposite! It was so flattering and the fit was perfect from top to bottom. I usually wear a 4 or 6, but heeded the advice of other reviewers and sized up to an 8 for this one because I thought my regular size would be tight on top. I'm a 34D, and the fit in the chest was snug but very comfortable - a smaller size definitely would not have fit. The dress fell to just above my knee, making it appropriate for a church wedding. As I mentioned before, this was my backup but I loved it so much that I chose this for the wedding, and it's my favorite RTR rental so far! I paired it with black pumps and minimal jewelry (earrings and a bracelet) to highlight the unique shape of the dress.

I ordered this dress for a wedding, but once I found out the bridesmaids were wearing a similar dress, I ended up going with my backup instead. That doesn't mean I didn't like this dress - it was very pretty and fit perfectly, very true to size. The leather detail on the sleeves and hemline keep this dress from looking matronly, as lace sometimes does. I tried it on with both black and nude pumps and it looked great with both. The only tip I have is to be careful when zipping the dress - the lace is thick around the zipper so it's a little tough to get up.

I hate that I don't have a picture of me in the dress because this one was really a hit. The fit was PERFECT - it really fit true to size for me (small waist, wider hips). That being said, I do have a larger bust, so I could imagine it may be slightly to big on top for those with an A or B cup. As other reviewers have noted, the color of the stripes is more bronze than gold, but I loved them anyway because they are such a unique detail. Loved this one and will definitely rent again!
