This was tough around the waist and top buttons gaped for me (I'm normally an 8). I should have sized up and gotten the 10 in this case! I did make it work with a big chunky belt for a friend date at the movies and for work because it was otherwise so cute and light for summer, but it was pretty uncomfortable. Also, the material not see-through at all so you don't need to wear a slip or anything with it.
