Cool but small
I rented the deep teal version of this jumpsuit in an M and was obsessed -- I kept it for over a month I think. This was noticeably smaller (so much so that I couldn't wear it) and a more mundane color.

Wishful thinking
This is such a cool outfit but it was wishful thinking that I would feel like I could pull it off or would have anywhere to wear it. I tried to wear it out to dinner and asked my husband if I looked like a clown (my initial reaction to the elastic around the ankles and overall effect). He, the nicest man in the world, paused and said, "... not a clown ... What are the other options?". It looks great on the other reviewers, so don't be dissuaded. Just be realistic if this will be outside your comfort zone. The M was definitely too small on me (6 on top, 8 on bottom), smaller than the photo shows. In general it photographed way better than it looked on me in real life.

Not great for this pear-shaped lady
This dress was too big in the bust and too small in the hips for this pear-shaped lady. I also definitely should have gotten the long -- I'm barefoot in this photo. The material is fine but possibly not formal enough for the most formal black-tie events. I didn't wear it.

Formal, conservative affair
This dress fit the bill for a formal, conservative affair. The fabric and cut is definitely very dressy -- this is a gown, with petticoat and bustle! -- and the neckline and cutout back worked for the work-adjacent event I rented this for. It was tight in the ribcage (and I have a small ribcage and bust), the neck was a bit uncomfortable, and it was a bit short for me (not quite to the ground barefoot; the photo is in 3 inch heels).

Nice but not a fan of the tiny straps
I wasn't a fan of the tiny straps. They dressed down the otherwise very-formal gown, and it was uncomfortable to have the entire weight of a heavy dress resting on such thin straps. I have a small ribcage (probably more of a 4) and the dress was a little loose there -- maybe if I had filled that out more that would have taken some pressure off the shoulders. I went with my other option. Length and everything else was good -- I'm 5'8" wearing 3 inch heels in this photo.

Cool dress

Fun jumpsuit, not ideal for pear-shaped folks
This was a very fun, comfortable jumpsuit. I liked the fabric detail, which made it feel fancy enough for a wedding. I loved that I could wear it with or without a bra. I'm a 4-6 on top and an 8 on the bottom, very pear shaped, and it was not the most flattering, but I still loved wearing it.

Nothing special but gets the job done
I thought this jacket was nothing special, but it's an easy to match layer for a dressy event. Note it's reaaaaally obviously not fur -- I'd call it a fuzzy synthetic jacket more than faux fur -- which makes it probably not the best choice for a truly fancy event.

Super fun, pear-friendly, resort wear
This was super fun, pear-friendly, resort wear. I found it light and easy to wear in dry 90+ degree weather. The pattern is pretty loud, so would have been hard for me to wear in my everyday life, but was perfect for a Palm Springs vacation.

Hard to size for pear-shaped folks

This is obviously not for everyone, but I am obsessed. It's soft and warm and striking and fun. It's a little hard to wear because it's sort of fancy (faux fur) and sort of not (bomber jacket), but it was perfect for the party I was going to, and I loved wearing it.

Looked like Jasmine - didn't wear
The photo doesn't do justice to how ridiculous I looked in this. It looked like a Jasmine costume on me. (Unfortunately, that wasn't what I was going for.) The poofy sleeve was way too much, and the bottom section pulled and didn't sit right. Many of you may look great in this (like the other reviewers, which is why I rented it), but wanted to give you a heads up that it's not all roses.

Beautiful print, strange fit
The print was beautiful, but the fit was strange on me. The dress has darts/detailing around the breasts that were several inches too high for me (see second picture). Maybe it's meant for much smaller women? It was a bit hard to imagine what size would have worked on me, since the rest of the dress fit. The whole thing looked a frumpy on me.
