I am an hourglass, 5'2" that usually wears a size 0 or 2, but since a few people said to size up, I ordered 2 and 4 for backup. The 2 was too small--I couldn't bring the two sides of the top clasp close enough, and the 4 fit up top, but below the natural waist gets rather tight. I consider my hip area to be small in comparison to my chest area, so the fit was a surprise to me. I even bought Spanx to see if it would look better, but did not have time to call and try to replace it with a size 6. I ended up wearing one of my own lace dresses instead. Pros - beautiful material Cons - not a good fit, not enough time to exchange

I loved the shape of the dress. It is flattering for slender body types. It may be too loose up top to accentuate a curvier shape. The 38 was on the large side of "true to size." I wear 0-2 normally and it could have been slightly more snug around the hips to show more shape. It was more loose on me than the model. the arms are also slightly long for petites, but not too noticeably.

Very chic. It is snug up top and has plenty of room at the hips. I was sent this dress because the one I originally ordered was not available. I would have preferred a size 0, but the 2 was an OK fit. It was very VERY loose in the hip area but the shape makes that not too obvious. The dress would look better on a pear shape.

This dress looks even better in real life than in the model pictures. Perfect fit, true to size, and a dress that would fit most body types well. LOVED IT!

Great if you want to look sexy but still classy. Wore out to dinner w/ my BF then to get drinks at a fancy lounge with friends. I would recommend not wearing a bra with this because the bumps would probably show in the back. Perfect to accentuate moderate hourglass type figures, and would probably be best of bust sizes D and smaller.

Runs small. I usually wear a size 2 and rented the 6. Very flattering and glamorous. Wore with soft gold heels and clutch, and understated diamond stud earrings for my event. This dress was a beautiful shade of dark emerald green. The fabric is very soft and it was comfortable, but I would not recommend wearing it if it isn't a chillier day outside because it is quite warm. The fabric layering was strange; I have an average build, but it made my waist and arms look model-skinny and my bust look extremely large, almost oddly so. Also, it felt like the waist was somewhat high, about 2" above the natural waist, and my torso is not disproportionately long, in fact I'd say my torso is short in comparison to my legs. If you have a short torso and want to look very shapely then rent this dress. Dress is true to size, British sizing.

The problem with high-quality stones is that they tend to be heavy. Be prepared to feel like you have three pairs of earrings dangling from your lobes even though you only have this one cute pair. They looked great, but my ears were relieved to have them off!

Unfortunately the description says "true to size" and I believed it :( The material and color are very nice, and the back detail is cute, but the dress runs quite large. Cute dress, but the size SR was appropriate for somebody who is size 8, and I usually wear size 2. Runs very, very large.. I looked like a 6 year old trying on her mother's dresses. The length would be good for somebody 5'7" and above, or a petite girl wearing 6-inch heels.

I loved this dress. It made my shoulders look athletic and it also hid my slight pooch. Overall it was a good shape for my body type. The length was perfect, so maybe it could be slightly short for a very tall person.

Most animal print stuff looks proletarian to me... but I absolutely loved this clutch when I first saw it on RTR. Very stylish. The chain was broken so I couldn't use that part but it looks better held in the hand anyway.

Well-made and cute sheath dress, but made for hippy figures, which I do not have. I tried the size 2 and it was comfortably loose on top, but when it came to the hip part, it pretty much flared out in a very unflattering manner. I would say this kind of dress would look great on somebody who is a true hourglass.

The dress is very pretty, but not ideal for petite girls. It ran "true to size" in width but the straps were very very long. I usually wear a size 2. The XS was slightly too snug and the S fit better width-wise but its neckline was far too low and started getting loose after walking around in it for 30 seconds so I had to opt for the XS. Also, this dress would work better for those with smaller busts... Still wore it anyway because it fit better than my backup dress and there was no time to ask for a replacement. There are plenty of more suitable dresses on RTR for petite girls, nevertheless I received many compliments from people who said my BF was a lucky guy :)

I loved the color and the softness of the fabric, but unfortunately it would only look good on people with very small cup size and wider hips. It would also look better on people 5'5" and taller. I'm 5'2" and the size 2 was borderline too long on me. Right at the knee. The hips were too loose and so was the waist. The keyhole in the front was gaping though because my cup size was too big for this dress.

This dress is a great length for petite women, and I loved the colors. I would say overall this runs true to size because the top runs large but the bottom runs slightly small. I am petite, not "curvy" but not straight and narrow either, just somewhere in the middle, maybe even a little top-heavy. The size 0 was perfect for my upper body but I could not pull it over my hips. I had to wear the size 2 which fit my hips OK, still more tight than I'd hoped, but the top part was more loose than I'd hoped. I didn't have a backup so I still wore it, and got lots of compliments, all from men. Go figure.

Usually wear a 2 and the 0 was a perfect fit. It was a backup for my birthday dinner and I didn't end up wearing it to the event because the other one fit perfectly, but I loved this dress too and will likely have other events that I would rent it for. The lace is more dense than I expected, but it gave the dress a heavier feel that was appropriate for cold weather in case you wanted to wear it on a colder day. Also, since it is a bit short I felt more secure that it would not ride up because the lace was not lightweight. Very nice dress!

LOVE! This dress is comfy and well-made, and is just as cute in real life as it is in the picture. I usually wear a size 2 and wore the XS but the S would have worked too. Length was mid-thigh. I wore this to a work party. It was really my backup dress for a birthday bash but I ended up attending a last-minute work event that week and luckily had a nice 'new' dress to wear! More cutesy on me than the model, and I look young enough already so I probably won't be renting this again. Good quality, and very rich color though. Fit is meant to be relaxed, runs true to size.

Cute grecian goddess dress style, but better for people with pear shape or at least a smaller chest. I'm more of a petite hourglass so even in the larger backup size I was busting out in the chest area even though it was already semi-loose in the waist area. Beautiful dress, but runs small. The dress comes with straps--like those for strapless bras, except made with a chiffon-like material, also in pink and with gold metal 'buckles' for adjusting size. I usually wear a 0 and the size 2 was too tight on the bust area. I couldn't get it to zip all the way up. A 32C bust is slightly too large for this dress.

Beautiful, but they weren't lying when they said best for A and B cups. My C was a bit much and I had to wear a jacket to cover the excess cleavage. I wear 0/2 and ordered medium and small. They accidentally sent me two mediums, and it was OK on the body but I think small would have been better.

This dress was very pretty, but neither the S-C nor S-D were just right in the bust area. It was kind of disappointing since it was a very pretty dress, and I was going for that subtle sexy look. Not good for girls with larger busts, but otherwise would be a very sexy dress on more pear-shaped girls. Luckily I had a backup dress.

I usually wear a 0 or 2, but for this dress the size 0 was HUGE. It sagged around my armpits, and my shoulders aren't particularly narrow. I have never had that problems before. The dress is also heavy. Since it did not fit I had to return it. Nice color though.

Very cute dress, but the arm holes were definitely large. I had to adjust them constantly. I got an XS and I wish they had an XXS because I could've gone a size down. Other Herve dresses are more snug in size XS. The length was perfect though, about 3 inches above my knee.
