I rented this dress for my sister-in-law's bachelorette party in San Diego. The event was classy yet snazzy and from the reviews and pictures it seemed like the perfect dress. Unfortunately, it just didn't have the WOW factor I had hoped for when it arrived. I ordered a 6 and an 8, as I had read reviews saying to order up, and they were right. The 6 didn't fit at all, yet the 8 was a little too roomy. I was also surprised that the back is completely open with lace overlay - it would have looked better without a bra, but I need the support of one. I must have missed that detail before ordering the dress; if I had known about the back, I would have made another selection to rent for the weekend. I received compliments on the dress, but I just didn't feel as amazing wearing it as I have in the past with RTR rentals. If you're hoping to make an appearance in a stand-out dress, this one isn't it.

This was my first rental with RTR and it was for my bachelorette party. Originally, I didn't order this exact dress, however a stylist sent it with my order when a backup size for another dress was unavailable. I am SO glad they sent this dress! Ladies, I highly recommend RTR stylists. They are fantastic! This dress has a rich, thick texture to it, almost quilt like, and thus very comfortable and surprisingly cool, despite how thick it is. The back zipper is the best part - so cute! I'm tall and was concerned about how short this dress was, even though it was for a bachelorette party (that can give you an idea of how short it really is!) I ended up wearing a pair of black polka dot tights and wore very low heels to make the dress seem less short, and it worked just fine. If you're tall like me, I still hesitate recommending this dress due to the length.

This dress was absolutely perfect for my wedding rehearsal dinner. The dress is completely covered in opaque and black sequins and radiates from every angle. It almost has a rose gold coloring to it; the zipper is in fact rose gold. The only complaint I have is that the zipper is VERY tricky to get up. I had two helpers and we were all scared that we would rip the zipper. I got so many compliments on the dress throughout the night. I ordered a 4 and a 6, and wore the 6. The dress is structured and has some interesting seams around the bust area that made me decide to wear the bigger size. I had no issue with itchy sequins at all, nor did I see any indication of wear and tear that some other reviewers mentioned. I am tall, and I feel like the dress hit me perfectly at my knees. It is definitely an appropriate length for formal events.

I rented this dress with hopes to wear it for my bachelorette party. I ordered a 4, and a backup size 6. The 4 arrived and was way too small. I couldn't even pull it up over my booty, and mine isn't even that big. I am tall, 5'10, and this dress was WAY too short. If you're petite, you can probably pull off this dress. Sadly, the tall girls lose this one. Order this dress at least 1 size, if not 2 sizes, UP. RTR didn't have a size 6 to send me, so they sent two sizes in an extra dress, which ended up working out perfectly.
