I rented this for a summer wedding. The ceremony was outside with no AC and the reception was inside a barn venue with little AC - the fact that this dress is a backless halter really kept me from getting too sweaty or overheated. It is is so airy and light, probably the most comfortable option I've worn to a wedding. Love the the halter tie is adjustable, the top was a little bit loose on me as a 34B so small chested ladies keep that in mind. Because it's backless I had to wear a sticky bra. I wore the XS which was true to size, fitted in the waist but not too much that I couldn't eat and drink as much as I wanted. I got so many compliments on this dress and it's my favorite one I've ordered from RTR in awhile. 10/10 would recommend!

I rented this dress for a fraternity formal weekend in NOLA. I was asked last minute by a friend so I was scrambling to find something different and stand-out because all of the dresses I had saved on my formal Shortlist were all unavailable in my size, I'm normally a size 0-2. I've worn a couple BCBG dresses before and always tend to gravitate towards their gowns as they fit well on my body type and the styles are always so fresh. I decided to take a huge risk and go with this dress-sheer skirt, cutouts, and all-because I thought the back was gorgeous and liked how flattering the waist was. I ordered the size OL and (2L as a backup) and I was so nervous to try it on when it arrived but the OL fit like a glove! I got so many compliments throughout the night even from random strangers on the sidewalk as we walked to our venue. Important things to know if you're considering this dress- BCBG sizes tend to run small so if you're renting your normal dress size I would definitely take advantage of the free backup and order up one size. The cutout style top isn't good for full-busted girls because you can't wear a bra and it doesn't cover much in regards to cleavage and the bust area is pretty small- I have a small bust so I went braless with fashion tape just as a precaution. If you're self-conscious about "lovehandles" I would steer clear of this dress because it exposes a lot of side/waist/back. I would recommend NOT renting the Long if you are 5'7" and under even in you're wearing high heels- I'm between 5'6" and 5'7" but the only available size O to rent was the Long so I had no choice- I had 4 inch heels on and frequently had to pick up the sheer bottom layer of the dress when I walked because I kept getting my heel caught on it and was afraid that other people around me would step on it and rip the bottom. Overall though I absolutely LOVED this dress and was sad to send it back-I would definitely wear this one again for the right occasion!

Rented this to wear with BCBG's cut-out Ava cage dress that was a gorgeous simple complementary piece without taking the focus off the dress. This fit pretty snuggly on me but I have extremely small wrists and forearms so unless you have the same this cuff will probably be tight and uncomfortable!

It was a beautiful necklace that complemented the graphic dress I rented for a friend's fraternity formal in New Orleans. The only problem was that when I received the necklace there was some visible wear on the stones that I wasn't pleased with. Later on in the night when we came back to our hotel to change I took off the necklace and noticed that one of the tiers on the necklace had broken on one side! Besides that incident it went smoothly.

I rented this dress for my sorority formal and it was PERFECT for the occasion. The mixed colors in this dress with the gold woven through are different but very striking and classy. I felt like a greek goddess in this dress and my sisters kept complimenting on how much they loved it! I wore a 0R and the dress fit perfectly everywhere except the bust. Since I have a small chest the shoulder strap was a little long but I taped it up with double-sided tape and it fit fine. I wore flats because the heels I planned to wear were too tall for the dress, but it only slightly dragged on the ground. Overall I was VERY pleased with the dress and my first transaction with Rent the Runway!
