Amazing color, very narrow in the hips
Amazingly beautiful color, even on pasty blondes! Unfortunately, if you have any sort of shape in the hips this dress is not for you. It runs very narrow and even if you try and go up a size, the dress only expands in the chest area, where it's not needed. Too bad as the color is wonderful.

Loved the color, but way too short
Rented this for a semi-formal charity event. Beautiful color and was very comfortable, but for us tall ladies (5'10") it was way too short, especially for a lace dress that also gives the impression of lingerie. Not appropriate, even with flats.

Colorful, comfortable maxi for any occasion
I wore this dress to an afternoon engagement party and it worked out perfectly. Colorful, comfortable, and received many compliments! I am always a size 6 in Shoshanna, but did order the 6R and 6L since I'm 5'10". I ended up wearing the 6L with flats and it worked out really well. I could have also rocked some wedges due to the longer length in the back of the dress, and it still would have works. The 6R was way too short in the front and clearly looked like it was just too small.

My wedding day!
While I was fortunate enough to have someone style my hair for my wedding, I still wanted to have a little bling when I took my veil off. This comb was perfect!! It was also beautiful and antique-like.

It was my wedding!
With all the expenses of a wedding, I decided to rent this beautiful bag (rather than buy one). Best decision!! As a bride, you really don't even need a bag (assuming your MOH and bridesmaids are doing their job ;), but it was perfect to hold my phone, lip glass, room key, etc. It was beautiful and in great condition. Also got a lot of compliments on it. FYI - this bag can certainly be used for a formal occasion or a semi-formal one, such as my wedding in wine country in the Fall.

Beautiful, comfortable wedding dress option!
Fits extremely well, nice and long for us tall ladies (need a 3 inch heel if you're 5'10"), and figure-flatting for everyone. No need for a strapless bra if you're a B cup. Great back-up dress if you want to rent a more risky one....just in case ;)

Beautiful Color - only meant for a hanger
This dress is gorgeous! Amazing color, great length (I'm 5'10") but extremely see-through. So see-through that you can't wear it without a slip, but who wears slips? I guess if you really want to wear this, you'll get a floor length slip.

Blah. While this dress was an amazing color and the fabric was seemingly soft, the fit was horrible.
This dress is not for anyone who has an athletic figure or shape for that matter. It's uncomfortable around the neck (too tight) and the size discrepancy is bizarre: size 6 was way too tight and the size 8 was way too big in the hips and all over. It was a bummer because I got it for a rehearsal dinner for a wedding I was going to in Chicago (I live in SF), and because it didn't fit, but I was in the 4 day rental window, I had to lug it with me to Chicago just to find a UPS store to mail it back to. Hopefully RTR will credit me back, as they usually do!

Great dress that received a lot of compliments!
I'm usually a size 6 in all Shoshanna dresses but this one was extra tight in the bust (I'm a 36B). While I could get into it, I figured a night of eating, drinking and dancing would not help the situation. So I wore the size 8 which was much more comfortable in the bust but too big in the hips. Fortunately it was black so it was harder to tell.

Lots of bling and turning heads are a guarantee with this number. It is definitely tight, so I would suggest sizing up for your second size. Overall, a really fun dress to wear for a holiday party, new years, or girls' night out!

Fantastic dress, especially for New Year's Eve!
Such a fun, flirty dress that is definitely flattering with the cinched waist. I rented this for New Year's eve and it was perfect. It's definitely short, so be ready to show your stems, but it will send a lot of compliments your way!

Horribly unflattering and frumpy fit.
I assume you have to go down numerous sizes to make this dress look somewhat flattering. It was huge throughout, but on a plus size, it does make your chest look larger than it might actually be ;)

Fantastic dress that can be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion.
Shoshanna generally makes very well-fitted dresses, but this one takes the cake. It hits all of your lady-lumps in the right places and is in a form-flattering color. While it might be a little snug in the chest (definitely no need for a bra), it gives more breathing room in the waist and hips for a comfortable fit. Wear it with heels and bling, or flats and a cute jacket/sweater...definitely a great item to have!
