I rented this for a dinner date with my husband for my birthday. I rented a 44 and 42 and ended up wearing the 42. I think it is pretty true to size but it is very forgiving with the stretchable material. It wore well all night, very comfortable. You do have to fuss with it a bit when standing from a seated position to get it back into it's proper position.

Gorgeous dress but this was my back up to the one I wore. I have to say I could not have worn this dress because the long was not long enough even if I were to have worn it with flats...I'm 5'10". However it was very pretty and I love the David Meister Your Royal Highness Gown I wore!

I usually wear a size 8 long or 6 long, I'm 5'10". I ordered based upon other reviews the size 8R and the 6L. The size 8R was much too big and short. The 6L was perfect length with my 3 1/2" heals but I wish I would have ordered the 4L instead of the 8, I think that size would have been the perfect fit! No matter! I love this dress!! It was very easy to wear, so comfortable, nothing to adjust all evening and beautiful!
