I wore this to a black-tie work event. I always struggle to find a dress that is appropriate but still a little sexy. The lace on this makes it a very mature look. If you are 45+ it's the perfect dress. I ended up tucking the lace into the top and wearing it strapless. The fit was too good to pass up. I'm 36 and I needed something that was a little sexier.

I rented the similar black version in a 40R and it was way too short to wear, so I had to exchange for the L version. I thought the same would happen with this one, so I rented the L version first. There were a good 6 inches under my heels. BUT this fabric is so easy to "hem" with fashion tape...in 5 minutes I had the perfect length. This was great to wear for a happy hour with friends or I would totally wear it on a date.

I love Elizabeth and James. This dress is probably the 10th I've rented by them. They never disappoint. I usually rent a 2, but with E&J I get 4's. I can probably wear the 2...but I think that it might squeeze my boobs flat and in a weird way. The 4 is definitely tight enough and comfortable. You could probably wear spanx if you needed to, but the fabric is so nice and thick that it's not necessary.

I have 32 D "aftermarket" breasts....so they hold themselves up :) but if you need ANY support you will not want to wear this. There was also a bit of under-boob. But I was totally okay with it. The colors are amazing and it was perfect for a night out in Maui. I'm 5'4" and it was perfect with flat sandals....no way I could've worn heels. It would've been too short.

I love Elizabeth and James but this has been my least favorite of their dresses that I've rented. The netting is more like a fishnet. And the one I wore had a large hole, that I didn't notice until I was at the restaurant. It fit small, and the fishnet pieces were tight. But overall it was okay. I liked that it was different.

This dress is very fitted, but absolutely amazing. I dressed it down with a leather body harness - which gave it some edge. Exactly what I was looking for. I would not hesitate to rent this. I typically get a 2....I'm curvy but smaller framed, but got a 4 based on the reviews. No way the 2 would've fit. The 4 fit like a glove.
