Gotta say, I was initially disappointed upon first glance of this dress. I'd rented it for my bridal shower and was expecting it to make more of a statement on its own. What I found is that it was a perfect palette for playing around with accessories, shoes, hair, and makeup. I ordered the medium and the large as backup, and went with the medium. As others have mentioned, it runs true to size to slightly larger than expected. Note that the material is much thicker and has more structure than you might expect from the photos.
