This was my backup dress and thankfully my first choice fit perfectly. Not much give room in this dress, the arms (sleeves) are fairly small. If it came in a 14 it may have fit better. Also, don't recommend for pregnant women who have started to show, the dress was a bit uncomfortable around the tummy area. I am tall and slightly curvy, since I've gotten pregnant typically a 12 fits, pre-pregnancy I was a 8/10. This probably fits petite and slender builds a bit better.
