This is a "wow" dress! Classy with a bit of sexy. I received non-stop compliments. The dress has a lot of stretch for comfort and it is very body-hugging. I found low-back shapewear and felt comfortable and confident all night. Since I'm on the shorter side, the length went more mid-calf on me. At times my arms were a little uncomfortable being rubbed by the sequins but it was bearable.

The color and lace is absolutely gorgeous. I really could have worn a 4. I didn't see much difference between the 6 and 8. I did wear the 6, however, the top was a little big. I ironed the lace around the neckline so it would stand up better and pinned the front hem since it looked a little longer than the lace. This dress fits tight through the waist and hips.

I looked at other black lace dresses but chose this one because the peplum is so adorable. I am usually 6 and ordered this dress in a 4 and 6. The waist was too small in the 4 but the 6 was too big in the bust. I wish the fit would have worked out because this is a really beautiful dress.
