I am happy with the dress overall. It fit true to size and was comfortable and flattering. Pockets are a big plus. The regular length was a little short for me. I am 5'-8" and was wearing approx. 2-1/2" heals. It would have been about right with flats, but who wears flats with a formal dress? The dress did not make much of a statement on its own and I ended up wearing some blingier jewelry and shoes than I had originally intended to give it some oomph.

These earrings are gorgeous but they are super heavy. I had to take some back up earrings to my event in my bag and switch them out when I couldn’t handle it anymore. If you only plan to wear them for a few hours, go for it.

I wore this for a 1920’s themed formal dinner/fight night for a work related organization. The dress itself was not on theme but I dressed it up with a 20’s inspired hairdo and it worked. I am in my 40’s, and this dress was flattering and elegant for me. However, it could go “bridesmaid-y”, by which I mean you’ll look appropriate for your formal event but it seems almost designed not to outshine anyone. I am 5’-7”, and the long just brushed the floor with me in 2-1/2” heels.
