what a dress! and to think that i was fairly underwhelmed when i first put it on... once styled, though, this dress is really special. it's dramatic, modern, chic and oh, so comfortable! (i wore a regular full coverage bra and a no-seam, modern brief.) i wore my trusty black patent j.crew valentina d'orsay pumps, a pair of simple, crystal ear cuffs, a red lip and i carried a black box clutch. compliments all damn night! too easy. i love you, #rtr.

i LOVED this dress! it was sent as the backup size to the rachel roy "snap out of it dress," which bummed me out at first, but ended up working out perfectly! i wore it to a summer wedding at sunstone winery in st. ynez - it is super flattering, a lovely color and SO comfortable. i wore it with j.crew black patent valentina pumps, a black box clutch from forever 21 and modern silver earrings from forever 21. i wore my black, wool j.crew schoolboy blazer during the evening. i received tons of compliments; and, as usual, RTR was super helpful and easy.

i didn't end up wearing this dress, but i can tell you that it's GORJ! the issue: it was too snug around my midsection, but too large for my shoulders (i have very small shoulders). i think it would've been just a tad too long on me as well. if i owned this dress, i'd have to have it tailored, so most likely, i won't be renting any rachel roys. too bad!
