I loved wearing this dress to a cowboy themed gala (hence the belt and boots). I am normally a size 4, sometimes 6, but luckily after reading the reviews I sized up to 8. The 6 fit perfectly but was quite snug. The 8 fit my widish hips so much better. I tacked back the huge straps probably an inch so that the top would fit, and wore inserts in my bra to fill it out a bit. Sitting at the table, the slit was very high so I just covered with my napkin.
