I loved everything about this dress! From the color, sparkle, fit, slit in front, and asymmetrical neckline to the ruching detail. An absolute beautiful dress and I received many compliments that evening. I am short at 5'-2" and the dress ran a bit long on me so I had to wear my highest pair of heels so not to trip on myself. The material was thick but not heavy or hot, and I was dancing a good part of the night!

I really wanted a dress with sleeves for this event and I was drawn to the Teal Lace Cape Sheath dress because of it's unique cape sleeves. However, it didn't look quite as good on me as I would have liked. I don't know if it was because I was wearing a Large, but the sleeves made me look a bit top heavy. I would have preferred a more fitted fit through the hips (like on the model image). The style looked a bit boxy and matronly on me - definitely not my style - but otherwise a comfortable dress to wear.

I wore this to an Oscars theme event for work and it received so many compliments! I was also part of the planning committee so I was running around in this dress the whole night. It was so comfortable! The material is kind of thick and I was worried that I would feel hot in the dress but even with all the running around, I stayed cool throughout the event. Wonderful first experience with Rent The Runway!
