Elegant, flattering, perfect for summer
This fit beautifully and was a perfect, chic, summery outfit for my son’s first birthday party. I’m between a 6-8 with an hourglass shape and the 6 fit perfectly. I see reviews complaining about the belt being off center and it’s true that it will be if you don’t have it on a particular hole in the belt — for me, fastening the belt on the 3rd hole made the belt buckle align perfectly centered and fit me fine if not sliiightly tight (I otherwise probably would’ve used the 2nd hole).

like many draper james dresses, runs at least one size large
Very cute pattern but it's very large, especially around waist. I normally wear a 4-6 and there was a LOT of extra fabric in the waist when I tried on the 4. Hopefully I'll have better luck with a 2.

liked this so much I bought it!
very flattering dress that works for many different occasions-- I have worn it to work with heels and on the weekends with booties. extremely comfortable and lightweight (it's not lined but this doesnt bother me since it's a pretty loose-fitting dress). I'm usually a 6 or sometimes 4 and I thought that a medium was a good fit-- I probably could have sized down (especially to make it a bit tighter in the waist) but I didn't want it to be too tight in the shoulders. overall a great, versatile dress that I'm happy I bought :)

Great color and fabric, runs large
I loved the vibrant color, pretty pattern, and light material of this dress. I did not care for the neck tie thing (I think it makes the dress wayyy too busy, it already has a lot going on with the flounce, etc.) so I tucked it into the dress and it looked totally fine. I will say that this runs large, especially for hourglass body types with a small waist-- I'm usually a 6, sometimes a 4, and felt that the 4 was very comfortable (and still not tight on my waist). I should also note that I am short-waisted so while I liked the fit of the dress, I imagine that people with longer torsos might find that this looks too babydoll-y or maternity-esque. All in all though, it worked for me and I wore it twice-- once to a bridal shower and once to work (though I used fashion tape to make it a little less low cut when I wore it to work).
