Classic, with a twist

Loved this look for a cocktail-attire wedding! You could probably swing it for Black Tie optional as well with the right jewelry and shoes. Tons of compliments. The fabric is thick but also has a stretch to fit your figure. The 'slit' on the side near your ribs is not too much at all - super subtle. Note that you should DEFINITELY get the 2 sizes you are between here with this dress - not just 1. The small was juuuuust too small, the Medium was almost too big - I went the Medium, but was glad I did because I was really comfortable. Could have been more fitted, but still felt great.

Flattering, so many compliments + perfect for semi-formal or formal events!

Event: Wore this to a black-tie optional wedding. Great alt for shorter girls who don't want to rent a floor-length because of height issues! This was a great option, and worked perfectly for the wedding, and got a ton of complements from guests. I felt great in it. Fit: I usually wear a size 6 or 4 - and the 4 was not available, so I ordered size 8 as a backup. Was swimming in the 8, and the 6 was doable but still a bit too big because it may have been stretched out - I would recommend sizing down with your backup size so that your dress doesn't fall down when you're dancing! The fabric has some give (without looking like poor quality), so you should be good.

Awesome piece to dress up or down in fall, spring, or summer.

I wore this to a Bridal shower in October - and wore it with suede mules to fit the season! Got a ton a of complements. If you're more busty, I would pass on this since your girls may be popping out! I have C-cups, and felt a teeny bit self-conscious but probably because I'm more modest. I wore with a lace bralette that worked well! Size-wise - pretty true to size (wore a 4, and I'm 5'4 and 132lbs with a more curvy build). The fitted size definitely looked better because of the silhouette.

So. Many. Complements!

Loved this dress! It's form-fitting and striking so you feel super feminine, but the material is thicker (not cheap) so you don't feel inappropriate wearing ti somewhere more formal (wedding, cocktail party, etc). I am normally a Size 6 (5'4, 135 pounds, curvy/athletic build) and it looked great - but I definitely could have felt a little more comfortable going 1 size up. If you have a backup size, go with 1 size above just in case!

Twirl-Ready Dress for the Dance Floor

I'm about 132 pounds, 5'4 and pretty curvy - and the Size 4 fit like a glove. (If it was any smaller, though, it would have been a no-go). The material is pretty stretchy so the top half can conform to your shape/waistline, which makes it flattering. I'm also a C-cup and didn't have to wear a bra - always a plus! I'd give this a 5 star rating if the quality of the dress was a bit better - this is definitely more of a '+1 wedding guest' dress than a 'I REALLY want to impress people at this wedding' dress.
