Great curve-hugging fit, forgiving, and classic style. Wish I could have worn it.
This was my backup dress that was chosen by a RTR stylist after my original dress choice fell through, and I wish I had had another occasion to wear this to (I wore the backup size of my original dress). Fits like a glove, with thick, slightly stretchy fabric. It smooths your silhouette and is very comfortable. You couldn't do acrobatics in this dress but it's comfortable to walk in and would be fine for dancing. The asymmetrical top and buttons are nice details, giving it a retro feel. Could definitely be worn without a bra (for up to a C cup at least). Will definitely be renting this for my next ocassion.

Flattering fit, beautiful color, complimented all night.
This dress is *very snug, but still looks good when worn tight. I usually wear between a 6 and an 8, but this was quite a tight 8 (you'll definitely need seamless underwear). The top isn't quite as ruffly as it looks in the photos, it's more like a flap, but that didn't bother me when I saw it on. You don't need to wear a bra because the top fits snug, but I wore one for extra bust, and because the dress pulls down a bit when you sit down. Unless you want to do cartwheels in this, you should be able to dance just fine (I did some salsa dancing in this, no prob). Stairs were sometimes a challenge because of the fit, and because the fabric barely stretches, but that's going to be an issue with most quality bodycon dresses. Overall I was very excited about this dress and it did not disappoint. I wish I could keep it.

Simple, well-made, and elegant.
The earrings are actually a mix of yellow gold and rose gold, which was a bit hard to see in the photo. They take up nearly the whole ear lobe, which would have been nice to know before renting (since there were no pictures of the earrings actually worn). For someone who doesn't usually wear jewelry, these were easy to pull off.
