Sized down 2 sizes - for me that was perfectly oversized. Wore belted over jeans and boots for the office and again with denim shorts to visit the botanical garden.

Cute but snug on top
I wear an 8 in VB blazers and this dress ran snug on top. It has some stretch but also buttons so it gapes. Fine with some fashion tape but wouldn't rent again.

Arrived new with tags - material feels very luxe. Runs a little big / voluminous - imagine it will feel like too much on someone petite! One con: collar flips out if you leave any buttons undone and you can see the reverse side of the fabric.

I’ve rented a lot of Veronica Beard and this wasn’t my favorite - a little too cropped and hard to style for me - but the quality is great. I’d say it ran a tiny bit small, but my usual 8 fit.

Waistband runs small with no stretch - I'm usually an 8 and the 10 was still snug (wore very high to make it work). Also runs quite long (even wearing high-waisted) and a bit sheer (did need a slip layer under). With all those caveats, it was fun to wear - very pretty for a work holiday party!

A work-friendly option
Needed shorts for a casual, outdoor work event in hot, humid weather. These were tailored enough to fit the bill and a nice, thick material that made them feel high quality. I found the matching blazer to be very boxy and unflattering but the shorts were great on their own.

Shimmery, floofy and fabulous
Size down on this one - there’s plenty of room and elastic at the waist. Wasn’t flattering or particularly attractive, but it was so easy and fun to wear, and got lots of compliments from other women at the event I wore it to.

Perfect for hot weather - not too form fitting and slits in the skirt for some breeze. Ties gather in the front so it gives some shape at the waist, and it looks a bit sack-like from the back… which I loved. Also a super soft fabric - all around win!

A little shimmer never hurts
Needed an outfit for a them party and this fit the bill. Not super flattering, but might have looked better without tights (felt too short on me to go without!). Looks a bit like sequins but it’s really more of a shimmer fabric - doesn’t feel quite as luxe as other items I’ve rented.

Such an easy dress to pack, wear, and feel fabulous. Runs on the long side (had to wear heels) and couldn’t figure out how to wear a jacket over - luckily a black wrap worked for the weather. Super forgiving and flowy. Planned to wear to a New Year’s Eve party but ended up wearing to a fancy New Year’s Day dinner instead.

Didn’t end up wearing for my event - need to find another reason to wear! Thicker sweater material with lots of stretch. True to size. Sleeves and overall length are long - I wouldn’t have been able to wear without heels or the fabric panel would have dragged. Very cool that you can zip/unzip as much as you want so it feels customizable.
