As other reviewers have stated, there is no stretch to the dress. My hips are a bit wider, so I opted for the larger size after trying both my size and the larger size on. That being said, if I owned this dress, I would have had to get it tailored/taken in, in the bust area. The design of the dress definitely flatters a curvy figure, great dress overall.

I was actually unable to wear this dress in the size I requested (size 10), due to a rip in the lace. Had it not been for the rip, I would have worn it. Before the arrival, I was worried about the sleeves, but there was enough room, and it didn't matter that there was no give in the sleeves. The size 8, my back-up size, was too small in the hips and arms.
