The 4 fit me perfectly - except in the bust. I couldn't contain my DD. This dress is not for those on the busty side. The size 6 was loose enough that it wouldn't stay on me. But the bust line fit better (but not great). My teen daughter tried to help tie the dress in another way so it would stay more secure. But it just wasn't working out. There were buttons inside and we both could see that if straps came with it that we could button to them it would be perfect. Oh well.

I love this dress and had a lot of fun wearing it to a dinner party. The material is like Under Amor, a bit thick and stretchy. The pattern is fun and the dress wasn't too short since it has a swingy, "skater" style skirt. I rarely go without hose but I did in this dress and paired it with a pair of red patent leather sling-style pumps. I also paired it with the Kendra Scott "Fenton/Eagle" necklace that I own in turquoise, purple and blue. RTR has the same one in black/gold that would work very well, too. The only negative: Like others have mentioned, as time goes by the sleeves sort of scootch their way up your arms just a bit, giving a "bump" on the shoulders. It is a quick, easy tug to pull them back down. I wore my hair down and since it is dark and long, the shoulders weren't much of an issue. If you really wanted to control it I suppose you could try fashion tape.

The dress' gold is truly a shiny, beautiful gold. It is like wearing jewels. The details on the bust and waist can give those who can wear the dress a really nice, defined shape. Unfortunately, the dress was too large in the shoulders for my figure. The cap sleeves slid down my arms and the waistline gathered in bunches which you can see in the profile photo. Mostly this is from the fact that I'm short-waisted and have small shoulders. But the waist was quite large even if the shoulders fit. The hip area was a tiny bit snug considering how loose the waist was on me.

I'm a 34D+ I'm 5'4" and short waisted with small shoulders. The idea of renting a dress seemed pointless to me because I rarely find a dress that I don't have to alter. This dress rocked. It is different than anything I own and was perfect to wear to a gala fundraiser on a cool, rainy spring night. The dress is woven from stretchy material, so if you turn it inside out it is a negative of what you see (inside is tan with black pattern). The dress is shorter than I expected on me. I can sometimes wear petite sizes because of my shoulders and waist so I was surprised it was this short on me. I had black hose on so that made me more comfortable (and hid the large bruise I had near my knee). My teenager took some photos after I came home this evening. I'm not the fashion model type and she had me smiling.

I small shoulders, a short waist and a somewhat petite frame. The dress fit perfect around the waist & hips, and l can see how other large-busted women like me were able to wear it. But I would have to grow shoulders 4 inches higher to get the dress to fit me. It was well made and pretty and the thick, stretchy material will certainly allow even larger busted ladies to go braless. But you'll have to have a longer waist and larger shoulders than I do to fit into the dress.
