Renter this along with a black dress for a wedding and it was the perfect pop of elegant color. I was amazed at how much I could fit in it for a wedding evening since usually I have to pare down to a few CCs, a lip product, and my phone. The structure is great, too, since it stands upright when setting it on a table or chair. Love it and would use it to dress up a casual outfit in the future, too.

I’d tried on three other dresses from RTR for this wedding, and this one was the easiest decision to go with. The fit was on point around my waist, and also gave me enough room in the hips to dance like crazy at the reception. The fit up top was also great since it didn’t cut in under my armpits (speaking as someone who gets insecure about that area with tight strapless dresses). For a tall gal like me, the length of the dress was also perfect. My only tiny critique is that the lining skirt inside the dress rides up and down a bit if you go from sitting to standing often, and that causes a bump/“bubble” around the top of the skirt area in the front and back. So you have to shimmy around a little to adjust it down so the bottom lays flat. Otherwise it starts to look like you’re walking around with one of those bum pillows that women used in 1800s.

In love with this dress. It was cut in all the right places and had the best flow to it when walking and moving around. I got so many compliments throughout the night! And it was breezy enough to wear to a hot summer evening wedding in Greece. If I had more summer dressy events to go to, I would buy this dress in a heartbeat. As for fit, the ribcage area was tight yet still manageable. The tightness in the ribcage also caused the shoulder area to pull down a bit and be tighter under the arm. If I’d had the time, I would have sized up to a 6 to be comfortable. It is also long in the back. Even at my height and wearing kitten heels, I opted to pick up the skirt when walking around since I felt my heel catch the back every so often.

I took these with me on vacation and haven’t stopped thinking about them! They’re fun pants that can be dressed up or down. I fluctuate between a 6 and 8 right now, so I ordered the 8 for comfort. They fit *almost* perfectly, but a little on the looser side around the waist. There’s elastic along the back, too. Fabric is solid enough that it’s not see-through.
