I was really excited about this dress, but unfortunately, couldn't wear it. I had read the reviews saying how small it ran, and I am typically okay in an 8, so I ordered a 10 and a 12. The 10 fit my hips & butt great, but was baggy in the stomach, and then I couldn't get it to zip for the life of me. I have a wide ribcage, which has always been an issue, but even with help, there's no way I would have been able to zip that thing up. Since it was slightly baggy in the stomach, I'm not sure I would have worn it anyway, but it would have been nice to see what it could have been anyway. The 12 was laughably large (yet I still couldn't zip it without help!) so I had to chalk this one up to a loss. So sad! I just think the proportions are strange.

I had no idea what to wear to a tented party in July; I knew it would be insanely hot outside, but I still wanted to look nice. So glad I stumbled across this dress! The material is super light and airy, perfect for a summer party outdoors, and the colors are vibrant and beautiful. I looked at the reviews before I ordered, which basically all recommended to size down -- would definitely agree with that! I am usually a medium through and through, but the small fit really well (I got the M as my backup just in case but didn't even end up bothering to try it on). You can see that the length of the smaller "high" skirt underneath is perfect, too, which can be a concern for dresses that run large as they often don't think to accommodate that part of a dress, at least in my experience. Even though the open back space seems high, I was so happy to find that I could wear a regular bra with this without a problem. One thing I'll say after reading through the reviews -- I was fully expecting to have to wear wedges with this since everyone was saying how long it was, but I nearly jumped for joy when I put the small on and it fell justtttt above the ground (I'm almost 5'6"). Would definitely rent again!

I wore this to a friend's bridal shower (I'm a bridesmaid) and it was perfect for the occasion! Love the colors of the flowers in the pattern, they're a nice orangey-pink color without being obnoxious. I think this runs a tad small because I ordered the medium and large and the large fit like a glove (usually, as long as my ribcage isn't an issue, I wear a medium and that fits well). Also, just a warning because the model pic misled me -- I couldn't wear a regular bra with this because it was coming out of the front-sides a bit, but the dress had enough material that I was confident that it wasn't see-through, and the fit was snug but comfortable. Great dress!

Pardon my language, but I can't even explain how excited I was that the 10 fit over my hugeass ribcage! I had ordered the 8 also, anyway, out of wishful thinking but ended up wearing the 10, so would recommend sizing up if you have a big ribcage as well because the material doesn't have much give. I got so many compliments on this dress throughout the night -- everyone loved the subtlety of it. A chunky, gold statement necklace goes with this perfectly. I'm not super tall and had to wear the 10 so this fell a little closer to my knee, but not so close that it didn't look good. Fab dress!

Loved this dress! Admittedly, despite the cutout, I was afraid it would look a little, I guess, matronly, because of the length of the dress, but it was great. It was still a little long on me (only reason it got 4 instead of 5 stars), I guess because I wasn't quite tall enough for an 8 with this brand. I'm usually either a 6 or an 8 and this material didn't have much give at all, so I went with an 8 and it fit like a glove. Could still wear a normal bra and it looked fab. Great color, too!

I wore this dress to a couple's wedding shower and wanted to wear something a little on the fancier side because I was a bridesmaid for the wedding -- I think this did the trick! I loved the color and the lace detailing was beautiful. I'm usually a size 6 or 8 (almost 5'6", athletic body type, 38C bust) but had read other reviews about how this dress ran small, so I figured an 8 was safe and ordered that with a 10 as my backup size and ended up wearing the 10. I'm one of those girls with a large ribcage, so I think that accounts for me having to size up, but because I had to size up, I felt like the dress was just a little too long, so that's why it gets a 4/5. The dress has no give/stretchiness to it so I would definitely recommend ordering a size up for your backup dress. It was very comfortable and a few people came up to me throughout the day to compliment the dress.
