This dress is super soft and comfy, which is great for an expectant mama in her third trimester. It's a nice silhouette, and is a pretty color. My only complaint is that it's pretty sheer, particularly in the belly area. I ended up layering a vest over it for work for a little more coverage, but it still felt a touch inapprops (and I work in a creative and laid back office environment). So I'd recommend this for third trimester mamas for weekend wear, especially in the heat of Summer, as it's REALLY comfy and the length gives nice coverage. But I wouldn't recommend for work, necessarily...

I basically rocked this dress a few times a week the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy. It was super flattering, the color was perfect for Summertime, and it was BEYOND comfortable. Which, when you're in your third trimester in July and August, is KEY! I highly recommend this to any mama in her third trimester. It just felt and looked a little cheap. The material is lycra and stretch with no zippers or real structure, and it looks more like a costume piece than a beautiful dress. I think a piece with this much lace and sheer paneling could use a slightly more substantial construction. So really, I just didn't like this dress from a design perspective. I imagine a college student going to a fun "formal" party would look good in this. But it wasn't for me!

Long black crepe Shoshanna dress with fun peephole, ruffles and side slits on bottom. Your cleavage and your shoes get their own peep shows (the shoes are particularly fun to show off on the dance floor). Comfortable fit. Hit me snugly across the hips and thigh area, but nothing a pair of Spanx couldn't smooth out. All in all, highly recommend. I wore this to a friend's Sunday evening black tie wedding, which also doubled as work industry event, and this dress was perfect.

I'm pregnant and just starting to show, so I wanted a new blazer to wear to an evening work event as I'm not comfortable with letting it all hang out just yet (I'm in the phase of looking a smidge belly-chunky, not quite pregnant loooking yet!) I rented this gorgeous blazer to go over an LBD, and it was the perfect accent piece for the evening. I'd highly recommend for work events where you want to look professional, but still a little edgy and a touch sexy. Great price point too. I'll definitely rent it again.

Way too much material in the hip area where the dress flares out. Too bulky, which in turn gave me an Elizabethan look! Like, you know where it's very fitted in the waist and then POOFS OUT at the hips! Please note, my love handle area is where I carry extra bulge, but almost 90% of fit and flares rock my bid to the max. Love the idea of this piece and the dots reflect light which makes it a somewhat unique LBD and will photograph well. But the cut made me look like a heffer.

I dig this jumper. Wore it to a work event (I work in the arts an entertainment industry in NYC) and this was perfect for an NYC charity event for Urban Arts. For me, I could only wear it with a jacket. It wasn't flattering alone--hugged my middle and hip area in a not so flattering way. However, 90% of jumpers hit me like that, so I expected it and planned to wear with a blazer. I like this piece because it's profesh but has a little flair due to the jumper factor and also because of the overlay design. I dig it.

I typically stay away from wearing LBD's. I know, I know, sounds crazy! Anyhow, this Herve has changed my mind. I loved it, and the Herve material gives it that little extra oomf that makes this LBD stand out. I wore it to my sis in law's wedding where I was a reader at the ceremony. It's got the typical fit of an Herve--hits you in all the right places and is snug where you almost feel like a sausage in a casing but ya look like a zillion bucks. It's just beyond flattering. I carry some extra padding and lumps in the love handle area, and this dress is VERY flattering for that kind of an issue. It cinches it all in. It's also comfortable. Although it does take some patience to get the zipper up by yourself. The scalloped neckline also made this look a great combo of sophisticated but also a little girly. It's a steep rental price, but worth it.

I wore this to my rehearsal dinner. Love the fact that it's flirty, chic, and classic all at once. It's a smidge on the short side...and even though the size 0 fit me every where else, it was WAY too short. I have longer legs, but with a short torso so I am usually able to pull off shorter dresses without feeling like it's tacky. Love this look. Fabulous look for bach soiree or any type of girls night out! Fab pop of color. I wore this in South Beach for my Bachelorette weekend getaway! The single, asymmetrical strap adds a dash of class to this otherwise sexpot frock. It's Herve, so it fits beautifully. It's not super short like some other Herves (the minis). I note this because sometimes it's a little hard to tell on the leggy models. But this comes almost an inch or two above the knee.
