This dress is amazing. It is very fitted, but the thick fabric and ruffle hide a multitude of sins. Definitely can't wear a normal strapless with this because it is a little too low in the back - I did a stick on and it worked great because the fabric really holds you in.

This dress is absolutely stunning, I wore it to a black tie gala and got compliments all night. Other reviews had suggested getting a size "long" so I ordered an 8L and got a 10R as my second size. The long was waaaaaaaay too long. I would have had to wear stilts. The 10 looked nice but was too big in the top so I had to get creative with pins and tape so it wouldn't slip and show my bra. An 8R would have been perfect, but the 10 worked just fine.

Definitely plan on a stick on bra and a belt or tie. Loved the way this looked once I belted it- without something to cinch the waist it was very baggy and unflattering. Still- the belt was an easy fix and the finished product made me feel great. The bra situation is tricky because of the open back, but an adhesive bra did the trick!

Dress DEFINITELY runs small- so if you plan to sit, or eat, or breathe, order a size up. I’m a 6 and had to wear the large. Fortunately the large fit BEAUTIFULLY. I felt sexy and classy all at once. After reading other reviews I selected an 8L as my second size- definitely the right move if you plan to wear heels. Great dress, very comfortable with good stretch. I got lots of compliments. The stretchy fabric and lace details cover a multitude of body issues (a bulge here, a roll there). Loved it!
