This dress is one of my favorites! I wore it to a black tie optional wedding and paired with tall heels and quite a bit of dancing. I don't usually wear a 2L, but was OK with the length because of my shoes and the slightly raised hem in the front. On top, I was glad I sized down, as it kept everything in place sans bra. The fabric, while gorgeously soft and vibrant, does wrinkle easily. So plan on steaming or just owning it- it was hot and humid on the day I wore it, so it was a nonissue. Wish I had it to wear again and again!

I rented this dress for a beach wedding, which required walking on sand. I loved that I could wear simple sandals and also have the fun factor - the print and the back of the dress make this one stand out a bit. You can't wear a traditional bra, which can be tricky for me, but there was enough coverage on the tops and sides that it wasn't a big deal. Wish I owned this one!

I rented this dress as an after thought, to go with a few others I'd ordered for a long weekend away at a beach wedding. I'm glad I did! I wore with dressier flat sandals, and bigger earrings and bracelets to dress it up but still keep it beachy. The length is mid-thigh (I'm 5'4" in flats), which balances out the longer sleeve, and the fabric is silky without being shiny. Would definitely wear again!

This was a super easy choice for a casual rehearsal dinner. The lace overlay is pretty without being fussy, and the length is very flattering. I wore nude heels, about 4", to help, too! If I owned this dress, I'd wear it again for a variety of occasions- it can be dressed up with the right accessories and shoes.

I rented this dress for brunch that rounded out a wedding weekend. It was the perfect amount of polish, while still being comfortable and casual- I wore it with flat Jack Rogers sandals and stud earrings. The beading around the neck took care of the rest. Typical of Lilly Pulitzer dresses, they are a bit roomier than others, which was perfect after a long weekend. But if you're unsure, pick your regular size and one size down. Also, the hem fell a few inches above my knee (I'm 5'4" ish)- it's on the longer side.

This dress didn't do it for me, but would have been great for more of a fun night out. I ended up wearing a dress I already had for a cocktail-y rehearsal dinner party. The sequins add a fun and interesting aspect to an otherwise straightforward dress, and the fabric shows really well in person.
