The color and drape of this dress is flattering and comfortable, and it's a great, safe, choice for nearly any formal occasion (or a good second choice if you've picked a more risky first look). Because of the cute blingy belt it looks best with silver accessories, but if you swapped the belt, the blue/green will look great with gold/bronze, or any other metallic.

I want to own this dress! I'm generally not a fan of asymmetry, thin straps, or non-fitted waists, but I took a chance on this dress because my original choice was unavailable and RTR generously let me have any available dress--turns out it's my most favorite rental to date! It's sultry, fitted in the right places (it was very comfortable because it's loose in the waist and fitted in the hip), and a beautiful color for the summer season. I wore it instead of a sari for a modern Indian-themed reception and felt like it fit in beautifully.

I was worried that the lace would be too delicate on this dress; but it held up great over my Reunion Dinner. The slip/lining is firmly connected to the lace and it means you can wear a regular bra. I wore the 2, but would have preferred the 0--it appears I was sent the wrong size (maybe a 4?) instead of the 0. For a dress with minimal shaping, the color and design are mega-flattering, but you want to make sure the fit is close.

This was my back-up dress because I wasn't sure if the color was going to be flattering with my medium brown skin tone, but it was just lovely. The coral color was perfect for the very formal but Palm Beach vibe of the event: young, fresh, but not cheap. The only issue was that the bra cup liners were missing (which meant the boning sort of visibly stuck out) but it wasn't that uncomfortable.

Rent this dress! I was a little concerned about it showing to much skin, but it was perfect in every way. The open back is sexy, but the front plunge isn't that low (I found that I didn't have to use any fashion tape). The pleats make it so twirly and fun. Regular length and 5" heels were perfect. No tripping.

I ultimately ended up choosing the other (Halston) dress I rented, but it was a close second. The draping is lovely, and the color is a lighter navy than the pictures might indicate. I'm short and the length was perfect with my 5" heels. As other reviewers noted, I also noted the poky boning in the bodice, so you'd want to be a little careful.
