beautiful cut and fit with unique pattern
this dress is beautiful - dressier in person than it appears in photos. I thought it would work as a casual day dress, but the material is a silk with lining, so the dress works for dressier occasions as well. Gold accessories are great with it - the color does require a tan or it could wash you out. I'm 5'5 and the 46R skimmed just above my ankles.

thick, flattering material but wrong cut for me
the material is very thick and forgiving. I got a large because I am pear shaped with wide hips and usually need extra room in jumpsuits/pants, but I probably should have got the medium. The top was bloused up too much because I didn't have the height necessary to pull of the large.

pretty print, runs small
My size (8) wasn't available, but I have been able to wear a size 6 in this Rebecca Taylor brand before so I added it as a backup style. Luckily my first choice worked, because this was way too small. It is a wrap dress which is usually more forgiving, but the waist was super small and wouldn't provide the necessary wrap coverage if you expanded the waist ties. Pretty silk print, but the colors are more muted in person than the photos.

festive and flattering, perfect for daytime party
Super comfortable to wear, forgiving with a fuller skirt and elastic waist, but still a flattering cut and not too much volume on skirt. Pockets! I went down a size.

great color, quality material
For a pear shape, this dress was not the best. I loved the top half of the dress- the deep v neck and t-strap back was super flattering, however, the top ran very large and I needed the smaller size of the two I ordered to avoid the unflattering gapping that occurred with the larger size. The bottom half does not necessarily run small, but if you are a pear like me, and take the smaller size so that the top fits better, the trade-off is the bottom half will be a bit too small. The fabric has stretch, so it wouldn't be an issue but the skirt of the dress is constructed in a "wrap" style - not really a "slit" as described in other reviews - and the top flap that "wraps" around opens to the point of exposing your leg up to the waist - it was a pain holding down the top flap most of the night. A great dress, but I wouldn't recommend it for pear shapes.
