It can go casual, too!
This was my free birthday dress and I didn't have a special occasion--just birthday dinner at a nice sushi place with my husband. So I went more casual by pairing the dress with black leggings and a black long sleeve shirt. It worked out great. I wore the outfit all afternoon and evening. It was very comfortable and so colorful--I would grin whenever I would look down at the dress. A complete stranger in the grocery store said "you're beautiful!" Now that's a good birthday!

I never would have picked this for myself--the stylist threw it in to the order when there was a problem with my dress order. It is so not my style that I almost didn't wear it. But in the end, the necklace got more compliments than the dress! It is definitely eye catching!

The color is amazing
It is a very casual fabric but the details make it luxurious--the outfit could be dressed up or dressed down. I found the chest to be tight even in the larger size that I ordered, and I'm only a 34C. It was also too short for me (at my height and my age). But I wore it with tights and had a nice dinner out in the dress. This dress was sent to me as a back-up dress because my original choice could only be sent in one size. I was able to wear the original choice to my work function and this I wore for a date night with my husband. It was fun to wear and I might consider renting it again in an even larger size (2 sizes up from my normal size) for a casual event.

Not your average day at work!
This was my free birthday dress (for my Pro membership) and I didn't have a "special occasion" so I ordered a dress I could wear to work. When I walked in to class (I'm a college professor) 3 students shouted out at the same time, "I love your dress!!!" Then they argued about who liked it first. :) I would definitely recommend the dress to most people--but perhaps not to other pear shapes, like myself. I did have to tug at the skirt now and then to keep it from riding up. But the fabric was amazing and since it has a little stretch, it was so comfortable to wear all day. There was an issue with my 2nd size for the dress, so Rent The Runway sent me a second dress for free! I'll be wearing the second dress out tonight for my birthday dinner with my husband. I could get used to wearing two different designer dresses in one day!

I felt like a million bucks!
The dress is so comfortable and you can wear a normal bra and skip the spanx. I am tall and the length on party dresses can be an issue, but this one was perfect. The dress is unique and luxurious--perfect for the wedding I attended. I ordered the 10 and the 8, but wore the 8. Choose your size based on your measurements from the ribs up--it is not at all fitted around the hips or waist.
