Once I squeezed into this I got nonstop compliments all night!
I thought for sure this was going to be the first RTR dress I'd have to send back without wearing- running small is a bit of an understatement! But, I didn't get my hands on the delivery until the afternoon before the wedding I was ordering it for, and there weren't too many replacement options available, so I tried it on one more time and enlisted my strong-armed boyfriend to zip... couple of grunts later I was in! Going to the bathroom was... a challenge... and my dance moves were unfortunately limited, but holy moly did people go crazy about this dress! The off-the-shoulder stays in place all night, and I did like how I didn't have to adjust anything all night, which I feel is usually the case in body con dresses. All in all, I felt incredibly glamorous, albeit slightly short of breath!

Felt super classy all night
It's definitely true that Elizabeth and James dresses run small. I typically wear a 2 and I really SQUEEZED INTO the 4. Once you're in though, the quality of the material is so obvious and I didn't find myself worrying about my belly or any other problem areas sticking out. Surprisingly easy to dance in! I paired this with the Kenneth Jay Lane gold shadow bib necklace to dress it up, and I received a ton of compliments on the look.

The PERFECT casual wedding dress
I had my eye on this dress for awhile, but always worried it wasn't fancy enough for the past events I rented for. As soon as I got an invitation for a casual wedding, though, my immediate thought was of this dress! I couldn't rent it fast enough, and I couldn't have been happier with it. The fit in the top was comfortable as the armholes didn't gape or cut into me. The skirt is a nice length (perhaps a bit short, but I felt secure at 5'6). The top is a bit more taupe in person, so while I had originally planned on wearing it with nude heels, it made more sense with navy ones. Soooo sad returning this guy!
