I loved everything about this dress! I thought the material was going to be too casual for a formal event, but it wasn't at all. The color is striking in person, and you could still wear a bra even with the open back! I ended up with the large - I am usually a size 8...the arms were slightly snug, but you couldn't tell. I think this dress runs a little tight, and I would size up especially if you're bigger on top.

I think this dress was intended for less curvy people. It accentuated the bad on my body. If you have any type of back fat and I don't have much, you will see it. This is one of my favorite rentals but I am so so glad I read the other reviews about sizing up. A size 10 fit me like a size 6 Ann Taylor does. If you have straight hips, I would still size up because of the top. If you are curvy, I would recommend bumping up two sizes. I received many compliments on this dress. I would definitely rent it again. I paired it with nude ankle boots.

I am a lot smaller up top and fuller on the bottom. I don't think I would recommend this dress for pear-shaped people. I had to go with the 8 because of my bottom half, but the top was a bit too big. I don't want to take away from how gorgeous the dress is, though. The color is vibrant and it was perfect for the semi-formal wedding I attended.

You see this dress and you think it will be super flattering if you have a smaller top, smaller waist and you're a bit fuller in the hips - but no, not the case. I guess my frustration started when my dress AND my back-up dress both came sans belt. I reached out to Rent the Runway, and received a response over the weekend, which was great. Then, I got home and tried the dress and it was terrible. The top fit well, the bottom is SO bulky with layer of fabric that it actually makes you look way wider and hippier. I think this dress would work best with someone with straight and narrow hips who are looking for curves.

I wore this with a floral dress. They're beautiful earrings - with just the right amount of weight. If you're prone to losing earrings, I recommend using backings with these. The part that goes into ear isn't very long.

I chose this as one of the dresses for my engagement photo, and let's just say the photographer and I were SO in love with it, I didn't even do an outfit change. If you carry most of your weight on the bottom half of your body, you can and should definitely go down a size. I'm 150 pounds and wore a size 2 - still, the straps were too long and I had to use double-sided tape to keep them in place. I highly recommend buying the double-sided tape, too. This way, you can wear the sleeves slightly off your shoulder - it's a beautiful neckline.

I thought my boobs looked enormous in this dress, and for a lot of people that would be great, but I'm a little self-conscious about mine. I would recommend this dress for pear-shaped figures...smaller on top, and fuller hips.

This was my back-up dress, and it ended up being the one that I wore. I am pretty curvy - and I wore the 4R, and the top was still a little loose (I'm a 34C) - the rest clung to me pretty well. I would not recommend this dress if you are insecure about your stomach. If you have one, you can't hide it in this dress. The color is gorgeous. It was nice to be in a sea of people and not have anyone in the same color as you.

When you first put them on, they seem a little heavy - but miraculously, that feeling almost immediately goes away. They didn't bother me all night either. They are really beautiful.

I am so glad I ordered a back-up dress, because this dress definitely looks a lot better on the model. There are two pieces or straps that are hanging off the dress, and everyone who saw it were confused as to how there were supposed to lay on the dress. Girls who are curvy - this is not the dress for you. The cut stops right at the hips, and there is NO give or stretch, so if you're an hourglass or a little fuller on the bottom - this will not work for you. Lastly, this dress comes very very wrinkled. Be prepared to have a steamer with you. There are so many layers of fabric, ironing it will be difficult.

I ordered the 4L and the 6L, and ended up going with the 4L. I am pretty pear shaped and this dress was very flattering on me. I received a lot of compliments throughout the night. I also rented the necklace and bracelet, too, which were great additions. The Long is very very long. I'm about 5'7" and had four inch heels on, and the dress still dragged a little. Still, I preferred it a little longer than having it too short. Also, I started the night with my hair down and the side bun thing later in the evening. This dress is definitely better with your hair off your shoulders.
