Stunning!

Fit: My measurements are Hips 38.5, Waist 31, Chest 34C, 5’4, 167 lbs. This dress fit almost perfectly! There are smocking panels in the back that make it pretty forgiving throughout the chest area, so I feel like you have a comfortable amount of wiggle room. My only fit issue was with the “halter” like straps. If you have broad shoulders or traps of any significance, the fit is pretty snug, so I’d be aware of that. A note for all my endowed girlies! The girls are out and do not have a lot of wiggle room. As someone who’s pretty average, it did make my chest look AMAZING. The girls sat well and actually look perky despite normally being rather sad teardrops. But I did have to adjust a few times to make sure that I wasn’t spilling out of the cups, not nip wise, but just spillage. At 5'4, the dress was perfect tea/midi length on me. Dress: The color is a stunning metallic, neutral copper that has sheen without being sparkly. I was at an extremely hot and humid, destination wedding and felt like the dress breathed well. That being said, as is the nature of a more satin-y fabric and the fact that I am a SWEATER, my sister did tell me a few times that she could see a little bit of a lower-back sweat stain. It was flowy and definitely gave me a few coy, very G (not even PG) Marilyn Monroe moments. So no, a gust of wind will not = you flashing anyone, but she was so fun to spin around the dance floor with. I was worried to travel with it compacted into my suitcase bc I didn’t want to flatten the pleating, but by design there is a crinkle to the fabric that makes wrinkles blend it remarkably well.

Cute!

Fit: My measurements are Hips 38.5, Waist 31, Chest 34C, 5’4, 167 lbs. The dress fit well everywhere except for the bust. As has been my experience this time around, it seems like women more gifted in the chest region may have unintentionally stretched out the fit a little. Either that or my boobs are way smaller than I thought! Because of this, I did feel like I would have had to constantly pull up the dress throughout the night. I did a jump test and it definitely would not have held up on the dance floor at a wedding. At 5'4, the dress was perfect tea length on me. Dress: The dress was comfortable and light, and felt like it would hold up well during a beach wedding. The color was vibrant, more of an orange red than a true red. That being said, the dress material was not the flowy type and did hold creases and folds throughout the skirt. Due to the lack of true structure in the bodice, I don’t feel like it was the most flattering for me. That being said, you can totally go braless and pasty-less. Bc of the loose fit in the chest the dress kind of bunched at the waist and made me look slouched over. The tie was thick and stiff (not overtly so, it does match the fabric of the dress) so I just tied it behind my back so it would shorten my torso even more. Did not end up wearing it to the wedding.

So pretty, but...

Fit: My measurements are Hips 38.5, Waist 31, Chest 34C, 5’4, 167 lbs. Fit wonderfully! Though the zipper was finicky d/t the construction of the segments throughout the top. Dress: The red is gorgeous and vibrant in person. By design the silhouette is super forgiving throughout the stomach area. The straps, despite looking delicate, felt sturdy and supportive. The only reason why I didn't end up wearing this dress is because it wouldn't lay properly. Despite the dress fitting perfectly, form fitting but with enough breathing room to take a deep breath on a full stomach w/ an all-inclusive resort bloat, the back of the dress would not lay flat. I'm not sure if it's bc of my torso proportions, but it gave me rolls (that I don't actually have!) like the Michelin man if I so much a twitched. Even when tugging down the skirt all the way, if I rotated in the slightest, it would puff out.

The pictures do NOT do it justice. It was a very beautiful dress. I did not want to return it!

I wore this dress for a BYX Formal. The color was deep navy and the beaded belt did not look cheap at all. I wish I had gotten more (and better) pictures of the back because it was gorgeously done. I got quite a few compliments :P Pros: Pockets! The dress was a relatively thick material, but it was very light and airy. I danced the entire night but sweat was not a problem. The skirt had volume without being poofy. The back was a show stopper and the dress was overall, very elegant. Perfect if you want to be classy yet sexy! Cons: I am by no means small chested, I think I'm about a 36D, but the dress fit perfectly everywhere except for the chest! It was unnaturally large. If it had been tighter, a bra would not have been necessary. Unfortunately I did not have a bra I could wear with the dress, so I went without, but was able to make it through the night without any issues. The bottom of the dress folds up weirdly at times, so I would pin it or finds a way to steam it (?), The straps of the dress tended not to lay flat, maybe because I have broad shoulders, so I had to adjust them often to make sure the front of the dress and the back straps laid flat. Once the straps were where they were supposed to be, the loose chest area was less of a problem. I would also suggest that you keep very straight posture! I had to do a sorority squat for a picture and it was not flattering. The front of the dress bunched up and made me look wider than I actually am. *I realize that seems like a lot of cons, but I just wanted to be thorough. I would absolutely recommend renting this dress! It was beautiful and you'll have trouble parting with it when your rental is over ;)

Loved the dress! I definitely did not want to return it.

I'm usually between a 8 and 10 (depending on brand), but I decided to try on the 10 first and it fit perfectly. Cons: There was trouble getting the zipper up at times because the fabric is so thick. I needed help zipping it up. Like many of the other reviews said, the straps were WAY TOO LONG. I ended up having my friend help me safety pin them by a little over an inch. It was surprising because straps usually dig into my shoulders. Pros: Pockets! They were big enough to fit my Note 3, which is not exactly a small phone. The detailing and color was very beautiful but subtle and classy. The fabric was thick and hardly blew up! There was even a tornado warning and the wind barely had any effect on the dress. The dress fit my chest nicely without being too loose anywhere else. The neckline was low enough to show a little bit of skin (if you have boobs), but high enough to be appropriate for a banquet.
