This necklace was great. Has the size and weight of a statement necklace, but is also muted enough to be worn as part of a more casual look. After I returned it, I kept wishing I had it for various outfits, and I've been looking for something similar to buy since then! I wore it with Trina Turk's Catch the Wind dress for my engagement photos. That dress is also somewhere in between casual and formal, so they paired perfectly. I also wore small matte gold rectangle studs - large earrings would have been too much with a necklace this chunky.

Rented this dress for my engagement photos when the little white dress I *really* wanted wasn't available. The way the skirt can flare out is the reason I chose it, and I was happy with it and ultimately loved the way the pictures turned out. The hem of the slip (built in) does show if you spin enough (you can see it in my pictures), but it didn't bother me. It's a nice lacy edge and not too short. The fabric is very thick, which is great for undergarments but no so great for hot days - I was sweating in it on a warm, humid morning. I wore it with a chunky matte gold necklace that set it off perfectly.

Loved this dress! Rented it for part of our engagement photo session, and it was so stunning that it ended up making our save-the-date photo. I'm between a 4 and 6 normally, and that was true in this dress too. Went with the 4 because it squeezed everything in a little more without creating any unsightly bumps. The 4 was tightest on my ribs (I have a big rib cage), so the 6 also worked and would have given me more breathing room. The R is fairly long - I'm 5'5" and wearing 4" heels and it still skimmed the ground.
