I loved, loved, loved this dress. I wore it to a party and felt very confident and attractive. The color is a beautiful plum color that stands out among black dresses but isn't too flashy. The shape worked well on my apple figure - I like dresses that skim over the midsection and play up the legs. The boatneck also shows off a statement necklace. Definitely a winner! I wish I owned this one!

This dress is so pretty, but I ended up having to exchange it for something else - it was so big it was unwearable. I normally wear a size 10 - sometimes 8, sometimes 12, depending on the dress - so I took a chance and ordered this dress in a large even though no backup sizes were available. The large was enormous. The sleeves completely covered by hands and the dress came to my knees and was super billowy even though I'm not especially skinny. It's a beautiful dress, but if you're not tall, think twice, and definitely order down for backup. I was sorry I didn't get a chance to wear it!

I rented this dress for a work event at my husband's law firm. It worked well for that type of affair. I felt covered up but still pretty. It is a lovely dress and is prettier in person than in the photos, which don't really show the lace detail to its best advantage. It's not as flashy as some of the dresses on the site, but if you need something conservative or subdued but still pretty and feminine, it's a good choice. Also it worked very well on my apple figure (e.g., shows off the legs and is forgiving on the midsection).

I wore this dress to a party where my husband was being honored; a lot of people were coming from work so I wanted to look special but not stand out too much. The color and 3/4 sleeves made me feel comfortable among the sea of suits, but the lace and cut made me feel pretty; this dress emphasizes the legs and de-emphasizes the midsection, which works for this mom of 3. I thought it ran a little small, I usually wear an 8-10 but went with the 12 so it would be looser given that it was a work function. I was very happy with the dress and would wear it again!
