I am usually a 10 in skirts (10-12 in dresses), I ordered this skirt in a 10. It was not big enough to fall off of me but I think I definitely would've looked silly wearing it in public because it was obviously large on me. The material is nice and thick and I did like the pattern in person so I will probably try to rent again in a smaller size.

I am usually between a 10-12 and decided to get a 12 here just to be safe. It was a little looser than I would normally wear for a dress but I still wore it. I will try a size 10 next time. It's pretty long, I'm 5'4 and it went past my knees so I had to wear heels with it to avoid looking frumpy. The shoulders give it a subtle but cute twist for the office.

I listened to the reviews and sized up, I do not think it would've fit otherwise. Normally a size 10, got a size 12 and it fit perfectly. The zipper does stick out a little bit so that may bother some but you can easily cover with a jacket. I wore without a jacket and I don't think it was noticeable to anyone but me. The ends were frayed so that did make it look less professional/clean.
