I rented this dress as an option to wear to a "Happily Ever After Party" (an event that was advertised as a "relaxed and joyful gathering" to celebrate & toast the newlyweds, who had eloped the day before, with their closest friends & family members) but was nervous about it being too "risky" to wear to such a wedding-adjacent event (I swear by the whole "if questioning whether a dress is too bridal, too ivory, or too close to cream, the safest and most respectful choice is to leave it in the closet" sentiment) 😅. Anyway, after trying this one on, I was pleasantly surprised and did not think it would ever be construed as a full-out cream/off-white/white colored dress. I sent pictures of me wearing the dress to the bride, the MOTB, and even the GMOTB (Grandmother-of-the-Bride) with extremely high southern standards and all three of them confirmed that my dress would be perfect for the celebration. Once I got their stamps of approval, I knew I'd for sure be wearing this dress to the event :)

Browsed all the other RTR reviews for these jeans, updated my body measurements w/ body measuring tape, & researched multiple sizing charts for this brand (on various different sites in order to compare/contrast) and I still wished I had sized down :( Still wore them to the event I intended on wearing them to but didn't feel as confident wearing them as I would've preferred 😅 (and, in hindsight, they don't look as baggy as they felt while wearing them in the pic I took 🤷‍♀️).

Although I didn't end up wearing this dress out & about (I rented it as one of many that I was considering on wearing to a wedding during MDW), I tried it on and loved it so much! Loved the red wine color of this coat and, since it is lined with fleece, it is so much warmer than you'd think a coat of the same thickness would be (it looks so much thinner in person that you wouldn't expect it to be so warm and cozy!). Would probably be a great coat to pack if you were going somewhere chilly since it's thinner than most other puffy winter coats!

My only dissapointment came from sizing. Personally, I feel like I always need to size up when it comes to Levi's jeans. However, based on the fit of these, I probably should have sized down. Similar to many other Sea NY pieces, the pattern of this top was great & I'd say it would be perfect for Fall/early Winter (worn before January of the following year). Otherwise, I didn't really love the fabric of this top. It was a lot thicker than I expected (which is a "plus" in terms of a pretty top that would be suitable for winter weather) but I had expected it to be more of a sheer fabric that resembled more of a bodysuit apparel item. I shift between XS - S when it comes to tops (I typically dislike top that are too tight) so I sized up in this one but I almost think I should have sized down to XS since the fabric and overall fit was slightly larger than I expected.

I def want to be sure to share that I sized up for this item (2-3 sizes larger than my normal size) because I wanted a comfy-cozy sweatshirt to wear & lounge around with my family for the holidays and so, keeping that aspect in mind, I'd say that the sweatshirt offered exactly that! It was super cozy...it just wasn't the most stylish (imo, grey is usually not a v flattering color when it comes to athleisure for women so I wasn't all that surprised that this one gave major Miss Trunchbull vibes). Anyway, I wore the sweatshirt several times over the holidays, I just didn't wear it anywhere outside of my parent's house or my own :)

I received so many compliments while wearin this dress - the color was great and it was stretchy so it was super flattering! That said, I am not exactly sure what the dress was made of (fabric-wise) but it was quite heavy which ended up making the dress fall a lot loner than what it looked like in the model pictures. It also made the dress a lot warmer (so I would not recommend wearing it on a hot day). The heaviness of the fabric impacting the length of the dress was not a deal breaker as I personally think it's better for a maxi dress to be longer versus shorter but thought I'd mention this detail for those debating on renting/purchasing the dress and who may be worried about length (and those selecting dresses for warmer temperatures).
