The fabric is rich and the colors-corals, golds and blues are complementary to my fair coloring. The dress is fitted through the bodice, but loose below the waist to allow for post-dinner comfort. The pockets are wonderful and well-hidden. They are great for carrying a small camera or smart phone. I received compliments from complete strangers--one lady even chased me down from the opposite side of the atrium to ask me about the dress.

The dress ran small on me. I wear a larger cup size and that was the area that was snug. I went with the larger of my two sizes--the six. The dress was rather short as well, I tugged it down every time I took a seat. This may have been a better length for a younger person. I pulled it off, I am told, but not in my head.

The size four fit properly at the bust, but tight at the hips. The six was roomy all over, but that's what I needed to wear to be able to sit, since there is no stretch to this dress whatsoever. I looked nice, but not dazzling. Appropriate, but not sexy. This dress would be great for a person with an athletic build who has a straight up-and-down figure with broad shoulders. I am on the curvy side. I needed to wear a strapless since the black shoulder did not cover my bra strap. The hem hit my legs at mid-thigh.

Ordinarily that would be a disaster--in this case, the dress looked entirely different on each of us. No one knew we were wearing the same dress. The dress obviously follows the lines of the wearer and that's what set us each apart--in additon to the color. It is very forgiving sizewise and you could easily order a size up or down. It is sexy without being revealing. A good low-risk choice for someone trying out the site for th first time.

This dress was my backup, but it was a close call. The sheath is a well-made and conservativly cut style. The neckline, however, made it much sexier than it would appear in the photo--particularly for those who have a full bust. In my case, cleavage was on display and I decided that the occasion called for less cleavage. Loved the pockets and for a grazing business coctail party it would be great--pockets are a rare feature on dresses and they are a great place to stash a business card or slim cell phone.

This is a head-turning dress.! I regularly wear a size 4. I fit the small perfectly. Keep a few things in mind. The dress holds you in place all over. But a good bra and spanx help keep your curves looking full where they should be full and flat where flat is the goal. Note that back zipper is very obvious, which is a deliberate design feature but may be offputting if you don't like the look of such hardware on a dressy dress. I wore this to a black tie affair in DC and I felt spectacular.
