The color of the dress in real life is very different than the picture on the site. It did not create any issue but be aware that it is much darker than portrayed. I went with the 18WR because I wore sandals - the length was perfect for me (I am 5'11). The fit was great and the material was extremely comfortable. It was a 95 degree day and I was able to handle it because they layers are light. I was able to wear a racer back bralette with minimal showing. A normal bra would have been fine, as well; but, I wanted more comfort. The dress is well lined.

This dress was amazing. I received so many compliments! I have a curvy figure so I wore a 20 when I usually wear a 18. I expect this when I get a sheath dress. The 18 fit but was tighter around my stomach (where I carry a lot of my weight) so I upsized to feel more confident. Yes, it was a bit larger/baggier in the arms and chest but I was okay with the trade off. The dress was extremely comfortable but I will note that it was very thin (as the top layer is a crochet-type); so, be prepared to wear a jacket if it's not warm outside. As it was NYE in NYC, I was expecting it no matter what.
