I was attracted to this dress because I wanted something bright, cheerful and girlie and that's why I rented it. PROS: Beautiful fabric (silk), gorgeous print, adjustable straps and you can dress it up or down. Easy to wear and felt fantastic on. CONS: I thought the flouncy bottom of the dress just overpowered the drape of this dress. Or maybe it was just not my style as I prefer cleaner lines. Extra Comfort & Has Pockets!
I was attracted to this dress for everyday wear and that's why I rented it. PROS: Lightweight, nice design details, POCKETS!, Extremely comfortable -- I felt like I was wearing pajamas. CONS: The straps were long and kept sliding off my shoulders. I "fixed" this by crisscrossing the straps in the back with safety pins. This solved the problem and looks rather nice as well. Great Maternity Dress... Except I am not pregant!
PROS: Comfortable and very easy to wear. Cute print for something bright & cheery. The fabric was comfortable on the skin. The criss-cross design in the back was a cute detail and made the dress fit better. I wore it for some zoom meetings so only the top portion of the dress appeared. CONS: Runs very large I could have worn a smaller size. There is ALOT of fabric to wear and I felt like a holiday tree while wearing this dress because of the tiered ruffles. The first tier of ruffle fell awkwardly in the middle of my bust. My adorable family kept making jokes whenever I worn this dress -- yep, they can be a tough crowd! Rental Condition: Very Good. 100% Silk -- What's Not to Like About That?
I needed a nice top for all those zoom meetings. The 100% silk top has softly gathered ruched detail at neck nape, a button placket, shirttail hem, and long cuffed sleeves. It has an overall traditional look & feel but is very well constructed. I was attracted to clean lines and was delighted with the thoughtful garment detailing. The fabric was pure pleasure to wear and just flows on the female form. If you appreciate the architectural lines of designer Helmut Lang you might also be attracted to this brand. Elegant Black Sweater Dress Up or Down
PROS: Beautiful weighted fabric that hung well and the cuffed sleeve was such a nice added detail. The sweater was "non-pilling" and had an overall "clean" look and was very comfortable to wear. The fabric was not too hot to wear even on the coldest of days. I probably would have purchased the sweater if I had found it at the beginning of the winter/fall season as it was well priced for the quality. CONS: Nothing comes to mind.
