I wouldn't call this dress fancy. It is a more casual sundress but I enjoyed wearing it around town for the day. I have a smaller rib cage and it was a bit too wide for me in that area. Overall, I would wear it again.

I sized up to a medium to wear it while expecting. The only negative is that it was a smidge too long for my 5'5" frame. I could wear it with ballet flats but even my father, who prides himself on his lack of style, commented on the length being a little bit too much.

Comfortable and cute.
Good quality and fit. I sized up and was able to stuff my second trimester belly in it so I would consider this to be bump friendly due to the stretch in the backside of the waistline. Not pregnant, a size small would have been perfect for my size four frame. I went with a medium, which I believe would fit an American size 6-8. I received many compliments on it. I also have a larger chest and was comfortably able to wear a strapless bra underneath.

Preggie Friendly
I wore this to a wedding in my second trimester and it fit perfectly. It might not be bump friendly in the third trimester due to where the fitted part hits. Although I chose this dress specifically because I thought I could squeeze into it, I ultimately would have loved this dress even not pregnant.

I wore this during the day. Although I am in my second trimester of pregnancy, I believe the lining would have had an odd fit even without pregnancy. It wasn't long enough to cover my bottom, but would have been weird at the waist. I was not sure what to make of the lining, and it left a visible line at the groin and mid bottom area.
