Certainly helped to keep the dress I got at a reasonable length for my 5'2" frame.
Most of the dresses supplied by Rent the Runway run long for a 5'2" person even with heels. I am older and cannot wear more than a 2 1/2" heel, so the tape was mandatory to be sure the dress wouldn't drag on the ground or upstairs to the church as I walked. Very helpful.

This is an incredible dress. Glad I had an option of sizing as I wore an 8 with another dress at the rehearsal dinner the night before which fit perfectly, but had to upsize. The ribcage area fits really tight and the 44r was too big, making the 42r the perfect size for me. Needed to tape up the dress as I am 5'2" tall and even with heels I would be tripping over it. This is a definite wardrobe A PLUS. Everyone commented on the incredible color. Was perfect for a garden and sea event. I love Rent the Runway. I would have purchased a very expensive gown and it would have languished forever in my closet or chosen a fantastic designer dress for a fraction of the cost. I must compliment this company for providing an invaluable service. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Wore this gorgeous dress for a rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding. Lots of compliments!
Dress extremely comfortable and flattering on my body. I love the cutout on the arms which provided me with a bit of coverage for at 72 arms are not as elastic as when you are younger. I wore a gold and white braided belt which accentuated my waist. And the most beautiful earrings you provided as an accessory. Everyone commented on how beautiful I looked in the dress and the material was stretchy enough to accommodate an incredible dinner. A winner in my book!!!
