Cute but prepare for “Where’s Waldo?”
The fit is great and true to size, a good weight, and I like it a lot. However if you are planning on wearing it to your Fourth of July activities know it gives a DISTINCT Where’s Waldo impression with blue shorts/pants. Easy to overlook with white shorts like the model!! But I had to warn others as I didn’t put it together before renting.

Really tough to find a bra that works with the neckline and back - I ended up wearing a strapless but would've preferred to wear a more standard bra. A little long on me.

Not for the busty
Very cute and I wanted to love it! But there’s no give at allll in the chest and I couldn’t even remotely fit in it even trying every type of bra (and none at all) that I had.

Great but with caveats
I overall really loved this dress but it’s very quirky and I wouldn’t recommend to all. I’m very top heavy so the billowing in front worked well for me, and the bottom is two clips a button and a zipper so it provides a good corseted hourglass shape, but could see it overwhelming a smaller frame. I wore it with a brown belt - there’s a super annoying black stripe in the middle I covered up to better match the accessories I wore with it. The back is infuriatingly big no matter what, I just made peace with it. All of those complaints aside I wore it quite a few times and loved it!

Wore it a few times and got a ton of compliments but definitely very short, especially if you’re busty! I’d size up in the future to get more use out of it.

I wore this quite a few times to different holiday events and it fit the bill every time. It’s not going to get an award for cutting edge sex appeal but as a general go to for work and family Christmas events it was great. Fit a bit big in the waist, I used the side buckles to tighten

much like you I once thought I could pull this off. no. pro: (singular) you will not be harassed in the street. no cat calls. this is an invisibility cloak. neutral: Everyone at work told me how much their kid likes giraffes. I have no strong feelings on giraffes. cons: truly every single aspect of this item. it’s so huge and shapeless that my waist’s disappearance will be featured on next season of Unsolved Mysteries. It also gapes at the buttons even with a sports bra on. It’s far too long. It looks like it has pockets and DOESN’T. I wore this for work because I was running late, this membership is expensive, and who am I trying to impress. Learn from me, writing sadly from my office in this too warm silken tarp of a dress. Don’t do it.

I feel like after makeover Anne Hathaway in this.
Is this blazer/sweater/robe heavy? Yes. Is it maybe warmer than all the coats I own? Absolutely. But most importantly, I wore it with a black turtleneck, black skinny jeans, and high heeled booties and feel like I could feasibly run the world in it. Impossibly sophisticated but definitely runs big - maybe not worth sizing down if you don’t want to sweat all day but worth the rental
