Not at all what I expected from the photos on RTR but I was still able to use it. It’s a a soft lemon chiffon color but it a crushed patent leather material- definitely something I’ve never seen before. Shiny not matte. Great size, was able to fit phone, sunglass case + the usual needs in it but still a great cloud/gathered style. You could untie the shoulder straps and remove to create a clutch, but the small loops would still be slightly visible. I would rent this again for a very specific need.

Wore this to a tropical theme “welcome party” for a work trip. Showstopper, gorgeous colors, very comfortable, tons of compliments. 2 minor cons: 1) when you walk, the material of the dress is very crisp and ride up in the front, so you have to keep a hand on it while walking. Probably not ideal for excessive walking/dancing. And 2) the caps sleeves are exceedingly poofy, so I pinned them to reduce the flare and give more shape. Other than that, really thrilled with this dress- just the right amount of decollate, hides the belly, stunning colors, easy to accessorize, quite short.

Rented for a spring wedding & was super happy with the choice! Ordered a 4 and 6 based on everyone's reviews- I'm always battling how to find the perfect dress to hide my budda belly/thicker mid section. The 4 actually ended up being a little roomy- actually thinking a 2 may have been a better fit with this dress, but I rolled with the 4. Went with a belt to help cinch the extra fabric around the waist & give it shape. Wore it will all gold & black accessories. Lots of compliments- it really photographs beautifully.
