I wore this dress to my wedding ceremony at the City Hall and also changed back into it for my reception after party. Blessing in disguise that RTR didn’t have my size (8) in stock and I had to size up… size 10 fit me perfectly but could not have been any smaller. The dress fabric does not give in at all. Overall the dress is beautiful and well made; the neckline and the “boning” on the bodice were my favorite parts. For me, at 5’6” with 3” heels, it hit knees. Only reason not to give 5 stars is that you could see that the dress has been worn and washed a lot, it did show some wear and tear, but luckily this does not show on pictures.

I rented this dress for my own bday party and was extremely happy! I specifically wanted something other than black and this vibrant blue was amazing. Got a ton of compliments. The dress is comfortable without being shapeless (fabric has no stretch) and size M was great length for me (am 5'6"). Only minus for the occasion was that RTR accidentally sent a wrong size slip with the dress (i got size S and M lace parts and size XS and S slips..). Luckily the smaller size was still doable. Sorry for the strange picture :)

I rented this dress bit concerned that it'd be way too tight/short/uncomfortable but it proved to be awesome choice for my friend's bachelorette party in summery NYC! Dress is made out of thicker, sturdy fabric that "sucks you in" nicely and although it is short it's not riding up. I was fine dancing all night! The semi sheer pattern makes it interesting but not too revealing. Can wear normal underwear.

I wore this dress to a work event and even though I got compliments, I did not feel totally at home in it. Definitely out of my comfort zone with the light color and "lady like" cut. Cut is nice though and will flatter a lot of body types. I think I would have been better off with one size up but it wasn't available. The fabric is light and wrinkles a lot but luckily the pattern makes it unnoticeable. Sorry for the dark picture :)

This dress is really awesome, exceeded my expectations! The fabric is obviously great quality (hate clingy&flimsy party dresses), color and pattern beautiful and the dress is really sexy without being at all slutty. The cutout allows you to wear a regular strapless bra or a slip. Only minor con I can think of is that the asymmetrical cut on the neckline created bit of "armpit fat" on the other side. Still, I think I'll be renting this again!

Absolutely amazing dress! Wore it to a wedding, got a ton of compliments and felt great. The pockets are the best thing! :) The fabric has a pattern/texture that doesn't show up in pictures and the dress arrives incredibly wrinkly. Ironing the hem does the trick but unless you have a steamer it's really hard to to get also the insides wrinkle-free. I decided this isn't a big deal. Thanks for all the past reviewers, i knew to order also a size 10 (i'm usually an 8) - if your bust is 34" or more definitely order at least one size up; the bodice part is very tight. For some reason it also made me look very flat chested so I ended up wearing a strapless bra underneath to give a bit of an extra lift. Other wise you won't need a bra, the built-in one feels supportive enough on its own. I felt very comfortable all night, dress stays put great (even after rigorous dance moves) without me needing to adjust. I don't usually wear dresses with flare or full hems but on this one i loved the movement. I wore strappy sandals with 4.5" heels and the length was perfect. Stairs were the only tricky part.

This dress wasn't my first option for my 30th bday party but i'm super glad i rented it as a backup choice (the other ended up being a total disaster on me). The dress fit perfectly and was very comfortable on. The ruching of the skirt part makes it forgiving on your middle section but as with all tight skirts, you do have mind it riding up. The golden under layer shows through nice and I added some chunky gold jewellery and pointed toe pumps to add lil glam.
