Two main pointers for the dress: 1) The shoulder is sewn together by just a piece of thread. Since this tiny thread is the only thing keeping the dress on your body, avoid the catastrophic event of the thread breaking and your dress falling to the floor by adding a safety pin to the shoulder. If you do it on the inside, no one will even see it. 2) The slip is realllly high (see photo). While is it super fun and sexy, know that the slip shows some leg!

I wore this gorgeous dress to what was supposed to be a "formal attire" holiday party. When I showed up to the party, half the girls came in cocktail attire! I didn't mind though, because this dress was, hands down, the standout of the night (even though I know it would have been the most remarkable dress in a room full of formal gowns)! The dress fits true to size. I'm 5'9" and ordered the long, which without heels would have been a little too long, but with my 4 inch heels (I wore nude patent leather pumps), the dress hit perfectly. The dress is a little heavy because of the sequins, but not so much so that it was distracting or got in the way of me hitting the dance floor! Lastly, since this dress is so glam and sparkly, I recommend wearing equally as flashy jewelry - gold and diamonds all the way!
