I read the previous reviews about this dress running large. I totally agree. I rented my usual size 8 in this dress for my backup (a size smaller was not available and I was feeling bigger than usual) and it was huge to the point that I may have needed 2 sizes smaller. Also, it did not seem to be as fitted in the waist as the picture shows.

Great dress, super comfortable and soft. It was perfect for the long car ride to the event. Very forgiving and flattering. It does stretch out a bit in length though as others noted. I went with the larger size for a more conservative look and this worked out great.

I rented this dress for my work holiday party which was a semi formal event. It was absolutely perfect and I received many compliments. I ordered a size 8 and 10. I wore the 10 because since it was a work event I felt more comfortable with a looser fit. The top of the dress is a very shimmery gold lace and it is very roomy.
