This is a beautiful dress but not very forgiving, as it hugs every curve and is very form fitting. I think it runs a bit small. I do not, however believe a larger size would have been better for me because the bust area was loose. I'm a fairly full size 34 B with muscular shoulders. I wore a padded strapless bra to take care of the problem. It's very classic looking in the front and the ruffled back lends so much elegance.

This dress fit beautifully. I’m ‘5 “3 with an athletic build. I wore the petite, which was the perfect length with 3 inch heels. I could walk around without it trailing on the ground and I didn’t have to worry about holding it up. The color was a gorgeous navy; it did not look black just a lovely navy blue. Best part: it was super comfortable. It was not too loose but not too fitted so it was comfortable for sitting and dancing. The long sash in back was a nice touch. I got compliments on it the entire evening.

Ordered the 4 and 6. The 4 was probably the better fit but I ended up wearing the 6 because it was more comfortable for sitting, moving, dancing etc. I wore a strapless bra, which helped fill in a bit. Gorgeous color. Lots of compliments. Not too short nor too long and that cape added some flair you don't see in most dresses.
