I got tons of compliments on this dress, but my favorite was from a little girl who thought it looked like a sunset. I wore a size down from my regular size, which RTR had recommended. I was nervous but it was perfect. The straps are a bit long so they fell down a few times but it worked out fine. It was a beautiful dress for a beach wedding.

First, let me start with the fit. I wore the size 0 and I wear that size in brands like J.Crew and Banana Republic. I wear a 4 or 6 at H&M. So that gives you a sense of why I think it runs true to size. I love that the dress has a built in bra because the open back is really beautiful. The color was a great green. It's bright and summery. The dress itself is a great length and has some give too. I loved wearing this dress and didn't want to take it off. The length on me was conservative. I had to wear flats for a lawn wedding but and I'm only 5'4". Overall, I loved this dress and it was a bright beautiful dress in a sea of boring black!

I wore this dress for a 40th birthday party at The French Laundry in Napa. I hadn't actually ordered this dress, in came in place of the dress I actually ordered as an alternate....and I'm so glad it did! The material is substantial and it was a cold and rainy day in Napa so I was happy that it would keep me warm. I added black tights with black booties because this was march and it's too darn cold for bare legs! The dress moved with me and fit like a glove. I only wish I had a statement necklace with me, as I was prepared to wear the other dress and hadn't needed one. This is a fantastic way to wear winter white and I stood out in a crowd of black. I loved it.

This is a beautiful comb. I wanted something small for the chignon at my wedding. I don't have a picture but it added depth to my brown hair. It's small, maybe 4 inches so it's not overwhelming. Really perfect or any hair style.

I rented this for my wedding. I must admit, I was nervous renting a dress but I've rented so many times I felt it would all work out. When I got the dress and the back up size was a blue lace dress instead, I got really nervous. But, luckily the size 4 fit perfectly. I only wish I had purchased a padded or push up bra to fill the top. I'm a b cup and it was slight big, as you can see in really just this photo. I loved this dress and it was so unique. The sleeves look and feel like soft burlap. The color is beautiful and I wore nude heels. I had a woman who wanted to buy it from me. Over all, this is a great dress that runs true to size.

I loved this dress. I rented it to be a bridesmaid in my friends wedding. I generally wear a 4 but I didn't take the 4 off the hanger. I tried the 6 first and it was so comfy and flattering I didn't even try on the 4. I wasn't going for sexy, I was going for classy and sophisticated. I wore the dress for 10 hours, got tons of compliments and was so comfortable. The dress has great stretch. I will say the fabric is heavier than I thought it would be so it would be great in fall or winter. I wore it in summer and it was 90 and humid. It wasn't hot but it felt heavy. I love this dress. Great rental.

So I shouldn't have listened when it said size down for your backup. I should have sized up. I'm generally a size 4 and while the size 4 fit, it was so fitted you could see my belly button and it was very short. I was heading out to party with my friend for her wedding so I didn't want to feel like I needed to suck in and pull my skirt down all night. If it was winter I would have worn black tights and been fine. But this was Labor Day weekend. I'm in my 30's and wanted to keep it classy so I didn't wear this. I recommend if you order your backup to go one size up.

The fit was perfect. I didn't order a back up size because I generally find this designer to be spot on for me. the dress fit perfectly. I wore it for 9 hours and didn't want to take it off. The pockets are an awesome addition. I got a lot of complements too. I think it's perfect for an afternoon wedding, any time of shower or daytime party. It's comfortable and pretty.

I ordered this dress for a Christmas Eve date night. The dress arrived earlier than I expected so I immediately tried it on. It has a slip for underneath that made me feel a bit like a stuffed sausage but it keeps everything smooth. I must admit that I was a bit unprepared for how low cut it was. I'm in my mid-30's and on Christmas Eve for dinner with my boyfriend I hadn't expected to show the waiter the goods. So, I opted to wear it for Christmas day around the house instead. While I thought the dress was flattering, fit well and was beautiful, I was too self conscious about the low cut V to go in public (and sit through a 5 course meal). If I were going to a Gala event, Cocktail party or some place where I'd be walking around most of the evening I would absolutely wear it, but sitting wasn't the best use for this dress.

I read the reviews on here and others had said this dress runs a bit larger than usual. I normally wear a 6 and ordered a 4 and 6. The 6 looked fine, but the 4 knocked it out of the park. I added my own thin patent leather belt, as it doesn't come with one, and my waist looked tiny! I have an hour glass shape and this dress huged it perfectly while still remaining work appropriate. I had a big work dinner in NYC and this dress was perfect for the occasion. Very Audrey Hepburn! I even looked for this dress to buy, but haven't found it yet. If you rent this dress, you will not be disappointed!

Rented this dress for a black tie gala. I wanted something fun but sophisticated. This definately did the trick. It fit like a glove and looked gorgeous. I was concerned about the cold and the length of the dress so I just wore tights and it was perfect. It hit about mid-thigh on me. If you are worried about length or have a big chest I would just order a size up and pull the laces tight where you need it. Loved the dress!
