Striking dress. I had compliments all night!
This dress would not have worked, but RTR was able to overnight me one size down than what I typically wear. It is unique and I felt like a million dollars! The mermaid hem is so flattering, and the neckline and cap sleeves were very beautiful but not revealing. The brocade panels in the bodice of the dress are slimming, as the fabric is rigid while the black fabric has stretch. All around a beautifully designed gown.

Gorgeous dress, itchy bodice
This dress was so beautiful, and I wanted to wear it, but the interior of the bodice is so itchy. My skin is fairly sensitive so this is would have driven me crazy all night. I opted for a different dress.

Beautiful, stand-out gown but runs quite small
Thankfully the RTR go-to-gal sized me up TWO WHOLE sizes on this gown, because it was so gorgeous and it would have upset me not to wear it. The waistband really sat more at my ribcage, making zipping the dress a pain. Once it was on it really stood out in a sea of black dresses and was worth the trouble!

Gorgeous, quality lace and flattering fit!
This dress is so gorgeous! The lace is heavyweight and not stretchy (but still comfortable), making it fall beautifully to the floor and lending to its quality. It's edgy yet still pretty conservative. The only jewelry I wore were some long earrings and it was plenty with the lace. I'd rent it again!
